The right to bear arms ....

Iran, like any other sovereign nation, has the right to bear arms - to protect itself against internal and external threats. It has the right to have nuclear weapons just as North Korea, India, Pakistan have already possessed nuclear weapons. The rogue country of Israel never admits nor denies that it has nuclear weapons and latest info is that it has at least 200 nuclear devices, not necessarily all located in Israel.

Iran now has missiles, albeit its improved version of some Russian missiles in its arsenal but does not as yet have nuclear weapons. The West suspects that Iran is developing its own nuclear weapons and reckons that Iran is a threat to the Middle-East and to the world in general. Since when does Iran become a threat to the world or to its neighbours. In the past 500 years or so, wars have been confined to the countries in Europe or have been started by the Europeans who went out against smaller nations in Africa, Asia and the Americas.

So, any talk of Iran being a threat to the world is western media propaganda. The US is simply intolerant of Iran becoming a nuclear power and, with Israel, is waiting to pounce on Iran, just as Eisenhower of USA at one time who, for no rhyme or reason, simply pounced on Mossadegh of Iran.
