Something else ...
World Cup has come and gone in South Afrika. Now it's time to talk of something else. There's this thing about the price increase of fuel in Malaysia. And about the proposal not to let foreign registered cars (mainly cars from Singapore) to buy the cheaper RON95 petrol but only allow them to buy the more expensive RON97 petrol.
Why complicate matters when it's far more simpler to charge a levy for a foreign car to enter Malaysia. For a start, charge at RM 50/= and gradually increase to RM 100/= as the years go by. Theis amount would go towards compensating for the fuel subsidy and for the use of Malaysian roads. After all, Singapore has been charging their foreign cars (mainly Malaysian cars) at some S$ 30/= on entering Singapore.
